Conceptual Framework Modelling

Blueorange develops and licences conceptual frameworks and methodologies for commercial, public sector and charitable uses in areas such as Information Technology, Insurance, Medicine, Health Behaviour and Behavioural Change.

Blueorange's consulting services include invention, analysis, modelling and validation of methodologies to structure 'the thinking' behind businesses and research groups ensuring that the data they collect and the information delivered maintains objectivity and reliability for commercial or scientific value.

Most of our methodology work is for bespoke private or commercial intellectual property development but Blueorange also builds and licence frameworks and methodologies available under Creative Commons - these frameworks are outlined below:

Key Human Drivers Behavioural Change Framework:

Author: Dr Jack Kreindler, 2002 - 2007

Details: This model first assumes there are three fundamental drivers that influence human thinking and behaviour. The model attempts to classify subjects and their respective behaviours according to thier drive (or anti-drive) for [1] Peristence (survival / physical integrity / power); [2] Permanence (reproduction / immortality / legacy); and [3] Progression (advancement; improvement; development).

The extent to which these '3 P's' dictate behaviour is fueled by an individuals emotional-behavioural reponses to environmental stimuli (including other humans). This framework classifies all human emotional and behavioural responses within the following axis (or semantic differential scales): [A] Positive <---> Negative; [B] Active <---> Passive; [C] Intrinsic <---> Extrinsic.

This enables, for example, data gatherers to classifiy responses according to their [A] Healthiness or Unhealthiness (on the Positive <---> Negative axis), and [B] Activness or Lazinesss (for the Active <---> Passive axis). Such a framework would allow different questions or discrete health questionnaires to be developed to collect consistent, underlying behavioural or personality indicators. Full details are available on request.

Example applications: Behavioural change systems; Health Assessments; Personality Profiling; Medical consultations; Pre-expedition screening
